Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to Carroll County Court Docket. Viewing its pages, reading its material, or using a linked search signifies acceptance; anyone who does not agree should discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and run. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body or court. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners offer services meant for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We exist to help visitors find court dockets and case-record resources in Carroll County and Georgia. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a privately operated reference site with no government or court affiliation. It neither stores official court records nor retrieves files, changes settings, or files documents.

Its function is to route readers to Alan J. Lee, Clerk of Superior and State Courts, other Carroll courts, Georgia access providers, and outside research tools.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is supplied only as general information about Carroll County dockets and record routes. It cannot replace an official docket, a court order, or legal counsel. Material facts must be confirmed through the court or clerk maintaining the case. Georgia’s Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 through 50-18-76, does not override court-specific restrictions, and Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 permits defined limits on court-file access. PeachCourt provider access and Carroll’s free Tyler index also do not guarantee public access to every filed image.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

No content constitutes legal advice or applies a charge, order, case, or deadline to an individual situation. Questions requiring that judgment belong with a Georgia-licensed attorney.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Dockets change constantly - cases are filed, hearings are set, settings get reset, and matters are sealed, dismissed, or amended. We try to keep up, but gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court or clerk. Always verify a docket entry or court date with the court that holds the case before you rely on it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to clerk pages, court portals, Georgia search resources, legal-aid organizations, or commercial services outside our control. Their operators determine availability, content, prices, privacy practices, and terms; users should review those terms before proceeding.

8. Intellectual Property

Carroll County Court Docket or its content partners own the site’s text, graphics, logos, and code. Copying, adapting, distributing, or creating derivative material requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is disclaimed for damages arising from site use, including reliance on information here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, demands, or proceedings caused by their site use or violation of these terms, including associated legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Georgia law governs these terms, and litigation arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Georgia.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revision takes effect when the new version is posted here.
